On 24 March 2018 the 9th Cosmos 3-in-1 MTB Race will take place. This is a race that will challenge you mentally and physically.
The event is one of the ultimate 100km races in South Africa, three races in one day, a 68km the morning, followed by 33km the afternoon and ending the day with a lap race of about 12km. But we always want to have fun, so there is also a fun ride for the little ones and the not-so-serious riders. There will be a Cosmos 3-in-1-mini, for age groups 15-19 years, which will include the 33km and the lap race.
We welcome all non-riders and supporters to come and enjoy the day with the riders, there will be food stalls and a hospitality area. Make sure you enter the lucky draw and stand a chance to win great prizes, which includes one of two brand new mountain bikes.
The total prize money this year is a remarkable R60 000.
This year Lake Umuzi’s brand new camping oasis, with a spectacular hospitality area, will be the starting and the finish of every race. There will be live entertainment during the prizing giving by the talented Charlene Olivier.
