Get into the groove of Misty Waters Music Festival with our first ever Fringe Festival.
Taking place from Wednesday, April 26th 2023 to Friday, April 28th 2023, Lake Umuzi is hosting its first ever Fringe Festival as part of the renowned, annual music festival Misty Waters, starting on Friday, April 28th. This unconventional festival will feature alternative performances by various bands and artists at three of the restaurants and bars located at the Waterfront. You can expect a pleasant cacophony of different genres of music from the Wednesday night, through Freedom Day on the Thursday, all the way till Friday night at Eish restaurant, Upstairs Sky Bar, and Zebra’s.
As we want everyone from near and far to be able to enjoy our Fringe Festival, there will be no entry fee. We encourage everyone to embrace the unconventional and join the festivities before the festivities! The line-up will be released soon. In the mean time, clear your calendars from April 26th – April 28th for our first ever Misty Waters Fringe Festival!
While you are clearing, why not clear your calendar all the way up until April 30th and witness some of South Africa’s biggest names in the music industry from Fokofpolisiekar to Bittereinder, Karen Zoid to Arno Carstens and many many more! For only R690 per ticket you can join the rest of the country in Secunda at the Misty Waters Music Festival. Your Misty Waters festival ticket includes general camping from the Wednesday night (when the Misty Fringe Festival starts) until Monday, May 1st (Worker’s Day public holiday). If you enjoy camping with a bit of style, we boast the beautiful Kamp Oase caravan park where you have your own braai area, water and electricity points from only R1200 for 6 days of camping (for the price of 3 days)! Why not fest in style and enjoy a whole 5 days of music!
First time hearing about Misty Waters or a Fringe Festival? Misty Waters Music Festival has been taking place at Lake Umuzi in Secunda since 2017.
