Rainbow Race – 6 October 2018

“Sport has the power to change the world” – Nelson Mandela

The great Nelson Mandela is an inspiration to all of us.  For this reason, the organizers of Umuzi Week of Festivals added the Rainbow SportFest to the list of festivals that form part of the Umuzi Fest.

On 6 October 2018, the second Rainbow race will start and finish at Lake Umuzi Kamp Oase. The runners will follow the famous Kosmos 3-in-1 routes that thousands before them have run and know so well.  The Rainbow Race will consist of a 21.1km, 10km, and a +-4km fun run.  The half-marathon and the 10km will start at 6h30 and the fun run at 6h40.

Medals will be available for all finishers. Prize money is also up for grabs.
